A live lesson where students only need a browser
8 October 2026
Teach live to everyone in the room, on their own screens, and collect their ideas as you go. Only you need Snazzy Pro. Your students just need a browser.
Do students need the Snazzy Pro app? No. They scan a QR code (or open a link and type a six-letter room code) in Safari, Chrome or Edge on any phone, tablet or laptop on the same Wi-Fi. No download, no account, no sign-up.
How it works
- In Snazzy Pro, open the Live tab, type a brainstorm topic and click Start Live Room. It shows you exactly what will be shared and asks first.
- A QR code and room code appear. Put them on the board or in your first slide.
- Students scan and join. They see your slides or screen with your camera, and hear you (one tap for sound).
- They post ideas and vote. You see everything live and can hide or remove anything.
- Post a message to everyone, like “two minutes left to vote”, or add your own ideas. You can also ask the assistant: “tell everyone we're moving on”.
- Click Turn Ideas into a Deck. The assistant groups the ideas into themes and builds slides with speaker notes, ready for your next lesson.
Why it's different from a video call
- No accounts or installs for students, and nothing to schedule.
- Nothing leaves your Wi-Fi. It goes directly from your Mac to their browsers. There are no servers in between, ours or anyone else's.
- Built for brainstorming: one board, votes, and an assistant that turns the result into slides.
- The same picture as your recording, so you can record the lesson at the same time.
Good to know
- Works best for up to 30–50 people on one Wi-Fi network.
- Students elsewhere can't join a live room. For remote students, stream to YouTube or use the video-call tool you already have.
- The board is kept only while the room is open. Students' names are whatever they type, and are optional.
- Run it from across the room with the Snazzy Pro iPhone and iPad remote: change slides and read your speaker notes as a teleprompter.
